The cell phone was invented by Bell Labs. They made them from about 1947 to 1967. But there has been a lot of controversy about this. Some are claiming that Martin Cooper, who was the vice-president of Motorola at the time. Articles in the San Francisco Chronicle said he made the first cell phone call in 1973. Then it goes back to say that the real inventor is the group or person who developed a concept about small cells and then implemented an automatic switchover system. This was Bell Lab. So Bell Labs created the first cell phone.
I see people walking around everywhere with a little blinking light bouncing off the side of their head. For a while there I was like what is that? It was a Bluetooth wireless headset. These little headsets allow people to exchange and connect devices to their cellular phones, laptops, etc. The also allow you to send a picture from one cellular phone to another Bluetooth compatible phone. It’s is so convenient to have one of these little devices. They just attached to your ear and your hands free. That also makes it safe to drive and talk. It’s completely hands free and there is no annoying cord getting in the way.
They now have all kinds of websites to where you can look up cell phone numbers, see who owns the cell phone, where they live etc. They also are able to get unlisted number information as well. Some are free and you just simply give as much information as you can, and some cost you a small fee. There are also phone books online, such as the yellow pages. Typically they can be found by just searching for them in a search engine.
Back in January AT&T bought out Cingular. They immediately launched an advertising campaign to replace the brand with it’s on stuff. It made the Cingular logo a part of it’s own. It’s been a free frail with AT&T. They were bought out by other companies and then they would buy someone else on and so on and so fourth. However there is a well known lawsuit that claims Cingular intentionally allowed the AT&T network to degrade to encourage their customers to switch to Cingular.
